The inhibition and adsorption behavior of dicyclohexyl ammonium chromate, cyclohexyl ammonium phosphate, dicyclohexyl ammonium nitrite and cyclohexyl ammonium carbonate was studied by electrochemical methods and infrared spectrum. The above four inhibitors in 0.05mol/L Na_2SO_4 solution did not show a obvious effect on the cathodic reaction of corrosion process for zinc, only affect the anodic reaction and increased the corrosion potential of zinc in Na_2SO_4 solution. Dicyclohexyl ammonium chromate showed the best inhibition efficiency on the corrosion of zinc whether in the bulk or under thin layer electrolyte, while cyclohexyl ammonium carbonate had no any inhibition on the corrosion of zinc in Na_2SO_4 solution. The results of infrared spectrum also proved the good adsorption of dicyclohexyl ammonium chromate on the zinc surface.
