THE CORRELATION STUDY OF ACTUAL MARINE EXPOSURE AND ACCELERATED TESTING IN LAB FOR MARINE COATING SYSTEMS PART I：ONE AND HALF YEAR TEST

摘要

The paper describes the correlation work on accelerated testing in lab and exposure test in marine environment one and half year. The marine coating systems include polyurethane, epoxy, acrylic chlorinated rubber and others. The marine exposure methods include marine atmospheric, splash, and marine atmospheric with sea water spray intermittent. The accelerated testing methods in lab include two artificial weathering apparatus with salt spraying. The performance evaluations include colour, gloss, hardness, chalking, adhesion and anticorrosive property. The micro surface analyses and electrochemical methods are applied for coatings evaluation also.
