In the present work concretes were studied with added fly ash (FA), micro-silica (MS) and ground granulated blast furnace (GGBFS), employing the electrochemical noise technique, with the objective to determine which mixture offers better protection against the corrosion of reinforcements. For experimental purposes concretes were supplemented with puzzolanic and cementitious additives (20% by weight). Two steel rods were immersed in concrete, and exposed to a NaCl solution (3.5% in weight) for 18 months. The samples were monitored using electrochemical techniques. The concrete mixture with 10% fly ash and 10% ground granulated blast furnace showed the highest protection of the reinforcement.
