摘要

This article introduces in detail the basic definition, research background, design thought, system composition, function character, and design point of associated storing water system of pool-vault in slopeland, and makes an analysis of the effect of its practical application. Experiment proves that this system, possessing the functions of adequately storing and effectively separating flood runoff, can transform rainwater into resources, raise the utilization rate and efficiency of rainwater, control soil and water loss, improve ecological environment, and carry out sustainable economic development in semi-arid and arid regions. It is a new thought and method of realizing the effective exploitation of rainwater resources on the Loess Plateau, even in all the semi-arid and arid areas in northern China.
