Equivalent surface representation of layered coatings

摘要

Layered coatings of linear homogeneous material surrounding a system of arbitrary inclusions are replaced through a recursive procedure, by an equivalent layer of electric surface current distributed only over some selected surfaces. This equivalent single source surface representation is independent of the enclosed material and the associated single source surface integral equations can be coupled to the volume discretization equations of the field problem in the arbitrary inclusions by hybrid solution methods.
