Open and hidden charm production in 920 GeV proton-nucleus collisions

Using the collected sample of 200 million minimum-bias proton-nucleus interactions at 41.6 GeV centre-of-mass energy, HERA-B is measuring the magnitudes of several inclusive particle productions. This contribution reports on preliminary measurements of the D-meson and J/Ψ production cross sections and compares them with the current experimental situation.
