A 3-D model of florida's sebastian river estuary

This study describes the application of a 3-D hydrodynammic and salinity model to Florida's Sebastian River estuary. The goal of the modeling probject is to define freshwater reduction goals that meet resource-based salinity targets. Freshwater discharge to the estary has increased since the 1920's as a result of flood control probjects and farming practices. The increased discharges have harmed estuarine biota in both the Sebastian River and adjacent indian River Lagoon.
