The lateral particle size segregation behavior in Circulating Fluidized Bed(CFB) was investigated using a non-isokinetic probe. The preliminary results show that the particle size has lateral segregation. The particle size is smaller, in the center and near the wall of CFB than that between them for upflow, while the particle size between center and wall of CFB ls larger than that in the center or near the wall for downflow. It is also found that the particle size in downward flow near the wall is much greater than that in upward flow in the same location.
