This paper describes testing methods of coils, transformers, printed circuit boards to achieve the required quality of the parts or units. Temperature cycling methods are also important like the 'traditional' partial discharge testing, polarisation-, depolarisation- and leakage current measurements. The test equipment for fast temperature cycles is described, advantages and disadvantages are compared and some test data of coils and transformers are presented. Some TWTAs are switched on during the launch to transmit some data of interest. Outgassing in space due to desorption, evaporation etc. plays a dominant role during lifetime of a satellite and can lead to spurious switch offs of the TWTAs. The testing of such units in the so called critical pressure range becomes more important. Tesat has developed different critical pressure tests on EPC and TWTA level to guarantee a minimum operation time of more than three hours.
