摘要

We report investigations of the dynamical behavior of a system of spatially coupled microchip lasers, operating under stationary conditions near the threshold of phase locking. We observe a number of different types of intensity and phase correlation instabilities. These include synchronized intensity oscillations of two or three lasers, as well as other types. Furthermore the transient behavior at the switch-on of pump power is investigated.
