Probability distribution of the early failures of machining centers

With enhancement of the machining center's function, its constitution is getting more and more complex, and failure probability in running also increases, so reliability has became an important quality dimension of machining centers. The high automation and complexity of machining centers has strengthened the necessity and urgency of improving their reliability. The reliability degree of Chinese machining centers is lower than that of the developed countries, their market possessing ratio is quite low, one of the reasons is that early failures of machining centers haven't been eliminated effectively. The early failure test for Chinese machining centers has been carried out in order to find out distribution rule of the early failures and eliminate them. A vast amount of the authentic failure data was collected. After analyzing and processing these data, distribution model of early failures of Chinese machining centers was found and verified using chi-square test.
