Model and techniques to specify, develop a system: a mediated approach

In reeent years, Internet has become a very important factor in the world. The World Wide Web presents us with a multitude of challenges. There is more information and information is spread over a vast geographic area. There is no centralized management of the information since anyone can publish information on the web. How to management the heterogeneous data sources over the Web? The result has been a renewed consideration of information system management. In this paper, we will do this work, to management the different, distributed, hetergeneous but autonomous data sources. This is a data integration system (a.k.a. information integration system) based on distributed mediator architecture. We brietly deseribe our approach and motivations and then focus on the first elements of modeling our Distributed Information Management System(DIMS) and how to make it more efficient and effective, and give some techniques to specify and develop our system.
