In the last decades, the salt massifs had begun to be studied for knowing their behavior in time, during the exploitation of the massif and for excavation (or usage of abandoned exploitation works) of big oil silos for depositing radioactive residues or other chemicals and toxic products. But for these purposes we must be able to predict with certitude the stresses and the strains in underground mining works. In this paper we suggested a complex numerical analysis of these mining works in salt, in static conditions (using Hooke's law) and rheological conditions (using visco-elastic model) with the finite elements method, in the domain of small displacements. The salt rock is considered isotropic and homogeneous.
