VIPwin: A General-Purpose Platform of Natural User Interface in Windows Based on VIP Technology

摘要

The Visual Interaction Platform (VIP) is a new technology for natural user interface of professional applications based on visual analytics technology and multimode technology. This paper extends the existing VIP to VIPwin system in order to provide a general-purpose platform in Windows for any applications. VIPwin is designed to simulate the mouse at a distance: the real infrared LED pointing device is employed to gain the ability of remotely controlling a computer. In this paper we introduce VIPwin system and discuss its key techniques of implementation.
