The ASIAEX 2000 Preliminary Experiment in the East China Sea (ECS)

In this short paper for the Warren Denner Memorial Session, we would like to discuss three items: 1) Dr. Warren Denner and his visions for the Asian Sea International Acoustic Experiment (ASIAEX) program, 2) a first look at the field program results of the ASIAEX program in general, and 3) a brief computational study based on field hydrography data from the 2000 ECS "preliminary experiment" (as opposed to data from the main ASIAEX field efforts, which were executed in spring of 2001.)
