Railway application of Fieldbus technology has now a very important positive feedback so that it induces a new way of designing trains. Confidence in such a technology has reached the level that permits to support the vital function of the train. The choice of an industrial grade technology has been very wise as railway take advantage of the evolution of the communication technology. The new FIP 25 project is leads to a new generation of competitive and efficient trains providing modern environment to passengers.
