Design and main features of the photovoltaic/thermal modules on the base of bifacial solar cells (BSC) with parabola-cylinder reflector concentrator are described. Solar cells are used not only for generating electricity but also as elements of absorbing non-photoactive solar radiation for transferring excess heat to a storage tank with help of cooling fluid. A series of reflector parabola-cylindrical concentrators where built at the VIESH for experimental investigations. Main feature of described solar panels, which are used also as a solar radiation receiver, is a soldered glass box for connected in series solar cells with special cooling fluid inside the box. Since solar energy can enter the BSC from either side, it is easier to achieve the optical matching with reflector concentrator, to avoid tracking system, and the electrical output of a BSC can be greater that the output from a conventional cells with only modest additional fabrication cost.
