In this paper will be compared the simulated thermal comfort in the two rooms at the attic house during the summer. First room is with conventional wallboard and second room is with PCM (Phase Change Material) wallboard. For valuation is used a data of a very hot and sunny days at August of Czech Republic's climatic year TRY (Testing Reference Year). PCMs absorb and emit heat while maintaining a nearly constant temperature. Within the human comfort range of 20° to 30°C are latent thermal storage materials very effective. Pure PCMs store 5 to 14 times more heat per unit volume than sensible storage materials such as water, masonry, or rock. The special treated wallboards can absorb ten times more heat than conventional wallboards and it can retard growing of temperature in the room. The direct sun is coming into the room through the window and creates thermal discomfort of the room. Use of PCM wallboard is a very effective for maintaining of summer thermal comfort in the interior. If there is a cooling system necessary, there could be design the cooling system with the lower power and save about 30 per cent of energy.
