An analytical solution to the problem of wave propagation due to uniform impact to a spherical cavity's wall is derived. The explicit solution for the radial displacement and radial and normal stresses are obtained in the integral form. This enables the numerical analysis in an easy way, using commonly attainable programs. The parametric study has been carried out and presented for the sinusoidal impact using MATHE-MATICA system. The dynamic-stiffness coefficient for the case of elastic medium with random shear modulus is also derived.
