In step-like deformations, discontinuous deformations, the techniques using a laser beam of single wavelength cannot measure the deformation amount. Because the deformation changes between captured specklegrams would be larger I than the wavelength of the laser. We have developed the technique that can measure the large deformations having step-like discontinuities by using two laser beams of different wavelengths.
