On the electromagnetic characteristics of metallic-sprayed shells

The electromagnetic (EM) emission over 30 MHz 1,000 MHz is studied on the electronic pricing scale with and without metallic-sprayed cases. Results show that the metallic-sprayed cases can reduce the EM emission 22.5 dB m/m at the very most, average reduction is 16.1 dBμ/m from an electronic pricing scale. The EM radiation attenuation models are developed based on the experiments. The errors of the attenuation models to the experiments are less than 5 dBμ/m, the relative errors is less than 10%.
