The development of third generation mobile telecommunication systems in China

摘要

This paper presents briefly the current situation of development of the mobile communications in China. A comparison has done of the distinction of the air interface of physical layer between 3 GPP and 3 GPP2. It is necessary to further harmonize various standards to achieve an unique global 3 G standard.
