A DYNAMIC SERVICE DISCOVERY ARCHITECTURE FOR ATTACHING AN AD HOC SYSTEM INTO 3GPP MOBILE NETWORKS

摘要

This paper focuses on the Service Discovery architectures of Mobile ad hoc systems. Especially the problem caused by the attaching of an ad hoc system into the 3gpp mobile network is studied. Service discovery architecture is provided, some available service discovery protocols are categorised, developed mechanisms are described and, finally, a use case is explained. By applying the architecture, the services of an ad hoc system can be discovered locally but also over the 3gpp mobile network. The detailed specification of the service discovery protocol still requires further work and standardisation in order to make it applicable to the all IP context.
