摘要

s Coal fly ash is a waste product of power plants. And high content of un-burned carbon in it has been a major barrier to the comprehensive utilization on a large scale of coal fly ash, this paper summarizes the fundamental principles of separation of unburned carbon from coal fly ash by dry electro-separation. Major factors influencing the separation efficiency in electrostatic separation were discussed and the optimum operation condition was obtained by orthogonal experiments. The experiment results of separation of samples from Jixi power plant show that the carbon content of coal fly ash can be significantly reduced by dry electrostatic separation method.
