The experiment was done in a cold model semi-circle jet fluidized bed. At bottom of the bed a special configuration was designed, which is composed of inverse -conical gas distributor, venturi and classifier. According to the physical properties of bed material in ash agglomerating fluidized bed coal gasifier three kinds of simulating bed materials such as millet/ green bean, millet/red bean and millet/soybean were chosen. The effect of composition of bed materials, gas velocity of bed and venturi, bed height and L/D of classifier on the discharge rate and particulate classification were examined.
