摘要

PAH- and mineral oil contaminated sediments were bioremediated for 5 years in drained open-air basins in layers 90 cm deep. During this period the effects of optimisation on the remediation process were studied in the field situation as well as in separate experiments. Physical impacts such as oxygenation, raising temperature, tillage and sieving are in particular effective in the early stage of landfarming but the effects decrease in the course of time, parallel to the decrease of the bioavailable fraction. A pot-experiment with sediments from the passive stage of landfarming and various crops is thought to indicate if, and by means of what mechanism(s), vegetation and its accompanying soil ecosystems affects bioavailability and degradation of the organic contaminants. Development of the micro- and mesobiological soil system was investigated in relation to the chemical and physical improvement of the quality of the created soil.
