Pulmonary Gas Exchange, Anaerobic Metabolism, and EIPH Unchanged by Nasal Strip Application in Exercising Thoroughbreds

Two sets of experiments, using 7 healthy exercise-trained Thoroughbred horses were carried out in random order, 7 days apart. No differences were observed between the nasal strip group and controls as far as pulmonary gas exchange, anaerobic metabolism monitors, or the incidence of EIPH.
