摘要

Three-dimensional numerical simulation of turbulent flow and heat transfer around plain fin in plate fin heat exchanger has been carried out to predict Colburn j-factor and friction factor of the fin at high Reynolds number. These factors are compared with the value calculated by HTFS's equation. As a result, they are reasonably predicted by setting minimum girid width to that calculated by momentum balance equation and Blasius's equation.
