摘要

The original optical surface-visualization technique has been modified and applied to experiments on aqueous LiBr solution systems with alcohol additives for investigating relations between molecular structure of alcohol and mechanical instability of solution surface. Real-time image analysis and automatic post-processing functions are integrated in the technique. Results of experiments show that aqueous LiBr solution system with alcohol which involves methyl group on the side of carbon chain has relatively small stability of adsorption layer and large potential for inducing surface disturbance.
