Experiments on the forced convective heat transfer of the horizontal parallel plates are conducted by using the metal plates which have nano-and micro-scale porous layer on surface. Precise measurements of the vertical temperature profiles are obtained by using of both platinum thermo resistance and fine gage thermocouple 25 micro meter in diameter. Curious disagreement was observed between temperature profiles on the nano- and micro-scale porous layer surface measured with two kind of sensor.
