Air bubbles were produced from twin orifices submerged in water, and nonlinear bubbling features and bubble interaction were studied. Air was supplied under constant flow rate condition, and two air supply systems, independent and dependent-branched systems, were employed. Orifice diameter was changed from 1.0mm to 2.5mm and orifice spacing from 1.5mm to 9mm. It is found that critical flow rate exists in branched-type air supply system and correlated well by orifice Weber number. The interaction between twin bubbles is complicated depending on orifice diameter, orifice spacing and air flow rate.
