摘要

Three velocity components of interstitial flow and pore structure in packed bad have been measured using magnetic resonance imaging to understand mass transport phenomena in porous media. The obtained velocity maps showed that channel flows with higher velocity existed in large void space, and that swirl flow was induced in the space where higher velocity flows combined. These nonuniform flows influence strongly dispersion process of mass transport. Based on measured velocity field in packed bed, Peclet number was calculated with approximately 20~30.
