The spirally finned tube banks have been used in waste heat recovery from the hot gas. In this study, heat transfer characteristics of solid and serrated finned tube banks with staggered tube arrangement have been experimentally investigated. It was shown that the correlation for the prediction of the heat transfer coefficient of the finned tube banks was introduced concerning the effects of the fin pitch to fin height ratio the longitudinal tube pitch to the tube diameter ratio
