MD study on thermal energy absorption of materials by light irradiation

摘要

The QMD method is applied to understand the fundamental mechanism of thermal energy absorption and emission in atomic system under light irradiation. It is investigated to understand how atoms in a thin film can absorb light energy and emit light energy and to know the characteristic difference of heat absorption and emission depending on light energy and the magnitude of light electric field during several hundred femto-seconds. Absorption energy and emission energy much depend on both light energy and electric field of the light irradiation. Under light irradiation below 0.1eV, thermal energy increases in proportion to irradiation time. Under light irradiation more than 0.1eV, the increase of thermal energy is saturated more quickly than in the cases of infra-red light irradiation.
