Four-quadrant DC/DC zero-current-switching quasi resonant Luo-converter

摘要

Zero-current-switching (ZCS) technique significantly reduces the power losses across the switches during switch-on and -off. Unfortunately, most of the papers discuss the converters only working at single quadrant operation. This paper introduces four-quadrant DC/DC ZCS quasi-resonant Luo-Converter that is a new type ZCS converter. It performs soft switching technique with four-quadrant operation, which effectively reduces the power losses and largely increases the power transfer efficiency. Testing results verified our design and analysis.
