This paper deals with mechanical fluidized bed principle and identifies needed parameters to make process equipment selection. Quick mixing with precision and high coefficient of heat transfer are two of the major benefits of this style of equipment. Vacuum drying with high speed provides shorter drying cycle, controls particle size and isolates product exposure to the environment.
