摘要

A formulation relying on the finite and boundary elements discretization (FE-BE) is implemented for the dynamic analysis of concrete gravity dams in the frequency domain. Based on this approach, a new computer program is developed, and the responses of an idealized dam-foundation system are investigated. The method is compared initially with the FE-FE procedure which is based on a massless foundation idealization. Later on, a parametric study for the effect of dam-foundation interaction is carried on and the results are compared against the previous corresponding researches reported in the literature.
