摘要

The new-type breakwater system that consists of the submerged horizontal plates, so-called Floating Breakwater using Submerged Plate (FBSP), is proposed in this paper. In order to evaluate its sea-keeping property, some experiments are carried out. From the experimental results, the safety of the mooring system of Sub-Plate VLFS is confirmed. The linear calculations are also carried out and are compared with the experimental results, in order to develop the design tool for FBSP. This paper describes the motions and the mooring of FBSP mainly.
