In 1999 the TM/TC-prototype, a joint project between DLR-Moraba and SSC-Esrange, was operational. The system is based on the DLR Multi Function Board (MFB). The MFB has been used on both sounding rockets and satellites. During year 2000 the second generation of the system has been developed. Modifications to improve operational handling and adaptation to CNES valve and ballast machine has been made. Two mobile ground stations for the TM/TC-systems have been developed in parallel. The stations will be used for extended flights, e g the Archeops mission to Russia. It may also be used for operations from other places. The second-generation system has been developed in co-operation with DLR Germany and CNES France. This paper describes the system and its applications in some projects.
