This paper discusses results from stabilization of sulfide soils in laboratory with two industrial waste products (Linz-Donawitz(LD)-slag and Air Blast Furnace Slag) and lime, mixed with standard Portland Cement (PC). The mechanical and chemical stability of stabilized soil samples was investigated. The results indicate that block-stabilization, with the used stabilizing agents, is an appropriate foundation method, with the exception of the stabilizing agent containing LD-slag. With its high contentof Vanadine (V), as it is today, it can not satisfy environmental requirements.
