GLON-GLOP Polish tracer system for locating of persons trapped in rock-fall

摘要

The mining industry is still one of the most dangerous and in spite of all protection measures each year there are accidents in which people are trapped in rock-falls. The fast locating of the person may decide of its life. The problem was solved by the installation of small radio transmitter in miner's lamp and designing the receiver which was able to find the direction and distance to the transmitter.
