A dopant study comparing the effect of pentavalent Nb/sup 5+/ and V/sup 5+/ modifiers on the material properties of BaTi(Mn)O/sub 3/ + SiO/sub 2/ sintered under oxidizing, reducing, and annealed conditions are presented. Dopants are applied as surface coatings to BaTiO/sub 3/ powder.
