Radar stations were installed to measure the sea ice drift on the northeastern shelf of Sakhalin Island. The velocities of tidal drift up to 100 - 120 cm/s were found, that is connected with influence of diurnal tidal shelf waves. Another particularity of these waves is unusual quick change of the phase along the coast. The characteristics of non-uniformity of drift were defined. It was found, that deformation characteristics at different stations has the different dependency from the tides, but save high stability for each station during the ice season.
