摘要

A new data acquisition system using a position sensitive ~3He proportional counter was developed to perform simultaneous measurement of a neutron pulse train in time and space. Through an examination performed at the Kyoto University Critical Assembly, it was confirmed that the inter-event dead time of the acquisition system was 4 or 5 μs in the experimental condition. This fact shows that the inter-event dead time was reduced down to approximately a half of that of the previously developed acquisition system.
