AN EXPERT SYSTEM FOR NONDESTRUCTIVE WASTE ASSAY DATA REVIEW

摘要

We have developed an expert system framework for nondestructive waste assay data review, and an associated tool for performing expert system rule editing. We have employed a combination of object-oriented and rule-based programming techniques to produce a data review expert system that is easily implemented at new sites. Our original motivation for developing a generic expert system framework was to ease implementation of our system at different DOE waste treatment facilities, but the result is a product that could be applied to other applications as well, such as the review of spent fuel characterization data.
