摘要

Some defects in building reinforced concrete structures and certain pathological problems can give rise to steel/concret bond deterioration. An experimental program on concrete beams with partial loss of concrete-steel bond is being carried out in Eduardo Torroja Institute. Externally bonded FRP-materials (Fiber Reinforced Polymers) could be used to improve the flexural capacity of RC beams with partial loss of concrete-steel bond. Flexural tests will be performance to know the feasibility of this strengthening technique for structural members with concrete-steel bond problems.
