This paper has proposed an integrated intelligent control method which using neural network and fuzzy system for subway train operation process. A fuzzy controlled BP neural network (FBP) is used for constant speed control before the stopping point. A fuzzy neural network (FNN) is used for automatic stopping control. The intelligent control algorithms of FBP network and FNN are described in details. In addition, simulation results are given and compared with the traditional PID control and fuzzy control. The simulation results are satisfactory and have demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed approach. The results indicate it is feasible for automatic train operation based on neural network, fuzzy system and other computation intelligence technology. The method can obtain quite good comfortbility, stopping accuracy, and has the characteristics of high accuracy, adaptability, and robustness.
