DEVELOPMENT OF SINGLE HELIX TYPE SPRT FOR MEDIUM RANGE USE OF THE ITS-90

摘要

A new type of a standard platinum resistance thermometer with about 25 Ω at the triple point of water is developed for the medium temperature range of the International Temperature Scale of 1990. The main aim of this project is to develop new thermometers to be usable up to 660°C with a low self-heating temperature rise. The purpose is nearly carried out by adopting a single helix winding of a thin platinum wire on a fused silica cross machined by recent laser technologies.
