In stoves of blast furnaces and in shaft furnaces for firing of pellets, blast furnaces and pusher-type furnaces for firing of different ceramic products and others operating at high temperatures and loads the utilization of creep resistant products at high temperatures as a brick, checker shaped products and others is required. Main factors having an influence on the creep resistance are both their quality (chemical and mineralogical composition structure, porosity, size of pores and their quantity; availability, composition and toughness of glassphase) and an use conditions (temperatures, loads, duration of their action). The research was carried out and the highalumina creep resistant refractories containing from 53 up to 84 percent of Al_2O_3 were developed in the open joint-stock company "Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S. Berezhnoy". In the given scientific paper information on highalumina creep resistant refractory containing 73 percent of Al_2O_3 is presented.
