摘要

This paper describes new criterions for high-speed transmission line protection using wavelet technique. Based on the representation of the tavelling waves through wavelet modulus maxima, the identification criterions for similar transients, such as switch onto unloaded line and onto faulted line, are proposed. Simulations are carried out for testing the criterions and the influences of fault location and noise are discussed.
